| So
this website and modeling thing... is this all you do?
No, I'm actually a graphic designer by trade. I work on different
design projects ranging from logos to print ads, but my interests
are primarily in website development (which has led me to create
and revamp my own sites for the past six years). Modeling was a
way to get me through college, but I enjoyed it so much that I decided
to keep it going after I finished school.
I'm also continually honing my skills as a makeup
artist, a craft that I learned after working with so many artists
on set as a model. To me, makeup is a natural extension of my creative
abilities while still allowing me to be involved in the modeling
industry. I would like to practice makeup full-time after I retire
from modeling, just because I love this crazy business!

Your
bio says you grew up in Vegas. Were you a stripper or showgirl?
No, I never worked as a stripper or showgirl... I think that's the
most common misconception people have about girls from Vegas! I
don't even know how to give a lapdance, I just like to receive them
and let the girls take all my money! hahaha Prior to college (before
I fell into modeling), I worked as a marketing assistant at a security
company and I also had a retail job in high school... boring stuff!
Then along came this site and the real fun began!

What
are the best things about modeling?
The opportunity to travel and get more stamps in my passport, meet
new people and be in the limelight, if only for that fifteen minutes
of fame. I like having a flexible schedule and managing my own jobs.
I'm very business-minded and modeling allows me to market a product
that I know best — myself! At photo shoots I like having people
pamper me from head to toe, and I love it when a stylist will let
me keep the clothes! And through modeling, I have met two of my
dearest friends: Kim
Von Martin and TigerLily.

What
are the worst things about modeling?
Having 6 AM call times, getting my eye poked out by an overzealous
makeup artist wielding an eye pencil, seeing a new magazine feature
come out and the editor used the worst photos of me... hahaha...
but seriously...
It seems that in LA, everyone just wants to make
it big, even at the expense of other people. I see a lot of toes
get stepped on. Some people won't even talk to you unless you're
"somebody" or they think you can benefit them in some
way. They judge you by the car you drive or the clothes you wear,
or whether you have VIP seats at the Lakers game. They name-drop
and measure a person's status by their business card title. Sadly,
there are too many fake promises in this industry made by people
who like to "big time" you.
I also see a lot of new models get too caught up
in the lifestyle. They drink in every word that other people tell
them and place too much emphasis on appearances and resumes. They
all want their own labels... like "I'm a Playboy model"
or "I'm the girl on E!" And all they become is that label,
just another nude model or TV extra in a place full of other girls
like them. Isn't Hollywood a great place to be? ;-)

Do you
like what you do?
I LOVE what I do! All my work feels like play...

What
do you like to do in your spare time?
Spare time? What's that? hahaha... I like to catch up on sleep,
cuddle up and watch a Netflix rental at home, go shopping or just
spend time with friends... stuff that everyone else likes to do!
I'm also a cooking fanatic, I LOVE being in the kitchen and whipping
up new recipes! Cooking is a great release for me, something to
do when I'm feeling stressed out or need a break from the computer.
I love testing my skills with a good gourmet recipe or mimicking
a dish I just ordered in a restaurant.

Where
have you traveled that you really enjoyed?
I love Asia. I have been to Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore and
they were the most amazing places to visit. So much history to explore
and it's very cheap to get around, which is a big plus — leaves
more money for shopping! I also love Tahiti for its tranquility
and beautiful landscape. It was the perfect place for me to spend
some time alone and rejuvenate before going back to the hectic pace
of Los Angeles. Traveling is my biggest vice. In the future I would
like to see Thailand, China, Japan and Italy, but a long-term goal
is to eventually visit every continent!

What
are some of your favorite things in life?
Cooking, comfort food, spending hours poring through magazines at
a corner newsstand, Sex and the City reruns, modern art
museums, my iPod Mini, my digital camera, videogames, anything hi-tech
actually, sneakers and flip flops, New York City subways, Vietnamese
coffee (try my favorite, Trung Nguyên coffee), flavored martinis,
trendy lounges, dive bars and English pale ales. I also
love my pugs, they're my babies! (Both girls of course, there's
only room for one man in the house.)

Where
can the best food in Los Angeles be found?
In my kitchen! ;-) But when I'm out, some of my favorite restaurants
include Lala's on Melrose, Cha Cha Cha, Fred 62, Killer Shrimp,
Eurochow and good ol' CPK. There are also many great unknown places
in Chinatown, Japantown and Little Saigon that I love going to for
a quick bite to eat!

What
are the hottest nightspots in Los Angeles?
Good question! I'm the last person you should ask! hahaha... I'm
such a homebody; I prefer a quiet night at home or a relaxed dinner
with friends, over a loud trendy club on Sunset. I did so much clubbing
in Vegas and NYC before I hit 21 that I'm burnt out on the scene,
and the LA club atmosphere just doesn't appeal to me. That, and
the fact that a lot of people here can be superficial, insecure
or catty when they're out and that's not my cup of tea.

What
are some of your favorite movies?
American Beauty, Almost Famous, The Joy Luck
Club, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Closer
are among my top favorites... I like movies with meaningful stories
behind them.

Favorite
actors and actresses?
Johnny Depp never makes a bad movie and I've loved some of his unconventional
choices in the past (Benny and Joon, Edward Scissorhands
and What's Eating Gilbert Grape). Kevin Spacey, Matt Damon
and Vin Diesel are favorites as well. For the women, I think Angelina
Jolie has a very powerful presence onscreen and she's simply gorgeous.
Charlize Theron is a total chameleon and has come such a long way
in her career. I also love Kate Hudson and Susan Sarandon, two of
the most talented actresses in the business.

What
kind of music do you listen to?
A little bit of everything, from classic rock to reggae to Euro-pop.
My iTunes features a very eclectic mix of stuff! I have Christina
Aguilera and Madonna right next to The Who and Pat Benatar. But
my longtime favorites have always been U2 and Lenny Kravitz.

Who
or what inspires you in life?
My mother is my mentor — now that I've grown, I can look back
and appreciate how much she has done for me. If it weren't for her,
I wouldn't be where I am today! She taught me to be independent,
resilient and motivated. Successful and happy people inspire me.
New York City is my other inspiration. I love its diversity, energy
and spirit! Since I was raised in Las Vegas (which is very "small
town" in its culture), living in NYC was like a jolt to my
system... everything I thought I knew flew right out the door. I
was exposed to a new attitude and lifestyle, and my experiences
in that city put my whole life in perspective.

You
are not "enhanced" like other models but have you ever
considered a boob job?
No thanks, I keep it real. ;-) I admit that when I was 18 and just
getting into the industry, I did think about implants quite a bit,
but I'm so happy that I ended up going against the flow. I may be
small, but I have enough ass to make up for it anyway, hehe. And
although I claim my rear end as my best feature, most people compliment
my face first or my legs.
What I've noticed is that a lot of models will
get boob jobs but then it becomes their only claim to fame —
having big tits. (Since when did bra size replace personality?)
I wish more girls would stay natural (most don't need the implants
anyway!), but if it boosts their self-image, they should do what
makes them truly happy. The biggest mistake is getting implants
to please someone else or because you think it will advance your
career.

What
do you say to people who judge or criticize you?
As a model I'm constantly being judged and criticized! I am somewhat
used to all that, so unless the criticism is coming from someone
important to me, I pay no mind. Usually if a girl passes judgment
on what I do, it's because she's jealous... and if a guy does, it's
because he knows he can't get in bed with me. hahaha But really,
why waste my energy worrying about what other people think?
Top

Why
do guys like you?
Without makeup I still look like I'm 16. hehe
Top

Why
do you think you're sexy?
I think I have a quiet confidence that exudes sexiness. Plus I have
an IQ over 140. Men love to be intimidated... just kidding! ;-)
Top

What
do you think is a man's sexiest feature?
His sense of humor, hands down. I am always attracted to personality
first and appearance second. Someone who can make me laugh is a
winner in my book! He should also make me think — I like intellectuals,
but not know-it-alls. However if I had to pick one physical quality
that I love in a man, I would have to say his eyes. You can tell
everything about a man by looking into them.
